Born on 20th November 1969, the First Lady began her education at Likuyani Primary School and proceeded to Butere Girls Secondary School in Kakamega County. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree from Kenyatta University and a Master of Arts in Development Studies from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
